Guidelines from China Maritime Safety Administration on verification of control measures for emission control areas

Further to our recent FOBAS bulletin, the Chinese Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) has issued details on how authorities intend to verify the use of both low sulphur fuel and equivalent alternative compliance measures within ship emission control areas.
